Meteoric Valentine

Last night
in the middle of the night
a meteor fell out
of the sky
5,000 miles away

A sway,
a gentle breeze
my cradle lulled to sleep
and I felt the traces
of you

Waking tranquility
ease
impervious to all
dreamt with a smile
deeply

While they, scared,
saw a fireball
I, sedate,
remembered my
Valentine
