Flow On Earth

‎”As I looked about me I felt that the grass was the country, as the water is the sea.”
– from My Antonia by Willa Cather.

Watching things flow on Earth:

The ocean, it’s tides
Rain puddles streaming into rivers
Feelings, emotions move
The prairies

Holidays seem to twist, wrap around
families, friends
Passing calendar dates
Your wrinkles, my anecdotes

Volcanoes erupt, lava
Bawling, tears to sobbing sighs

Hopes emerge, render
Joy present
Cascading realities fall
Apart, together, within, around
I am.
