I suddenly understand
“things that die before their time”
as if puncuation was added to emotion,
feelings I can’t hide
from this exchange
these paces aren’t merely a walk
but my jogging won’t get me on the train any quicker
Feelings be damned
I need to relax, and I need to keep my feet on the ground
in order to not let anything die
whither, fade or decrease
*My dad says there is a difference between the hungry man running after a rabbit in a field and the one sitting quietly in the bush waiting to pounce. I am learning to sit quietly.
