There is hidden, neglected, denied, lost and forgotten history among low-income people and people of color across the United States and Canada. The leader of Fletcher Engagement Services, Adam Fletcher Sasse, is a hyperlocal historian who has extensively researched the history of Omaha, Nebraska, to find that history.
Committed to emphasizing, highlighting and empowering the history of these histories, Adam has built a massive website with hundreds of articles, written several books, hosted more than 80 podcast episodes, and developed a massive social media presence to promote the past. He has also worked with partner organizations and individuals to broaden the city’s interest in the history of low-income people and people of color.
Today, NorthOmahaHistory.com is a public outreach program of Fletcher Engagement Services. We facilitate training workshops, speeches, online seminars, and more related to history. Contact us today to learn more.
